About This Product
Standard solder slugs for 4-gauge battery cable lugs. These are pre-measured pellets. Drop one into the lug barrel, heat it with a torch while you hold the lug in a vice, then press the battery cable into the molten solder. It makes a permanent, low-resistance joint that beats crimping alone for carrying starter current. Slide heat-shrink tubing over the joint afterwards to seal it against weather. Sold in packs of 10.
