This .020 inch thick copper base gasket from Cometic is a Type A design, specifically tailored for 1984 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin engines with a 3-1/2 inch standard bore. Copper gaskets are a favorite among engine builders who need to maintain specific tolerances or adjust compression ratios. This gasket follows the original 1984-style Big Twin base contours perfectly. It can also be fitted to 1986 to 2022 Sportster models, as the bore, stud holes, and oil passages are identical, though the outer shape will be slightly larger than the Sportster cylinder base. It provides a rugged, high-conductivity seal for demanding engine builds. This product is sold individually.
