About This Product
This Cometic primary cover gasket features .060" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material) construction with a dark composite finish visible in the layered aluminum core. Designed for 5-speed models, the chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber bonds to both sides of the aluminum, creating a foam-like seal that requires no gasket sealers, silicone beads, or re-torqueing. It withstands temperatures over 250°F with 85% recovery and strong torque retention. Replaces OEM numbers 60539-89, 60539-89A, 60539-89B, 60539-94, 60539-94A, and 60539-94B, fitting 1989–2006 Softail and 1991–2005 Dyna models perfectly.
