About This Product
Cometic shifter shaft cover gasket for the rotary top 4-speed. Fits late 1979 to 1986 Big Twin models. Replaces OEM 33196-79. The gasket is .031 inch thick Aluminum Foamet Material. Aluminum core with nitrile rubber coating. Temperature resistance is 122 degrees C. Torque retention is excellent. You do not need silicone or extra sealant. Fit this to stop the leak at the shifter shaft cover on these old 4-speed gearboxes. Check the cover is flat before you torque it down.
