About This Product
Cometic transmission end cover gasket. Fits 1980 to 1986 FLT Touring and FXR. Replaces OEM 36801-79. It is AFM, aluminum core with chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance is over 250 degrees F, 122 degrees C. Recovery is 85 percent. Torque retention is excellent. You do not need gasket sealers or silicone. Fit it dry and torque the end cover to spec.
