About This Product
This Cometic oil seal is designed for the starter shaft and features a rubber outer diameter for a secure, leak-free fit in the housing. It is a direct replacement for OEM 12043. This seal is specifically for 1980 to early 1984 FLT Touring and FXR models. Replacing this seal is a vital step when servicing the starter drive or primary drive on these early five-speed models to prevent primary oil from escaping. Cometic’s robust construction ensures it can withstand the demanding environment of the primary drive. These are sold in a pack of 5, providing enough seals for multiple service jobs or workshop stock.
