When you are running a big bore Sportster, you need gaskets that can handle the extra displacement. This Cometic cylinder base gasket set is designed for 1986 to 2022 XL Sportsters equipped with 3-5/8 inch big bore cylinders, though it excludes 2008 to 2012 XR1200 models. These .010-inch thick gaskets feature Cometic's SLS (Single Layer Steel) technology, which consists of a non-embossed steel core coated on both sides with a .001-inch layer of heat-resistant nitrile rubber. This construction provides a very stable and thin seal, ideal for builders looking to fine-tune deck height or quench. This set is sold as a pair for one complete engine.
