About This Product
Cometic cylinder head gaskets in .032-inch copper. These fit 1957 through 1971 XL900 models with the standard 3.00-inch bore. They replace OEM part number 16769-57. Copper conforms well to surface irregularities and conducts heat away from the chamber. Check both head and barrel surfaces for flatness before fitting. Torque them down in sequence to the factory spec. Do not reuse old fasteners if the threads are pulled or the clamping load is suspect.
