About This Product
These Cometic rocker cover gaskets are built from .020" single-layer stainless spring steel with a .001" high-temperature Viton rubber coating on both sides, giving them that distinctive black finish you see here. Unlike the old OEM 17540-69A paper gaskets that turn brittle and weep, these won't extrude, tear or degrade over time. The square port design with precision-cut mounting holes ensures a proper seal on 1966–1984 Shovelhead motors. Sold as a pair, they're a proper upgrade for anyone tired of oil leaks from the top end.
