For riders pushing extreme power, this BDL optional diaphragm balls clutch spring kit is built to handle motors up to approximately 180 horsepower. It is designed specifically as an upgrade for the 588795 and 588796 Competitor balls clutches. The kit includes a high-horsepower diaphragm spring and 14 carbide steel balls that provide additional centrifugal lock-up force. These are used in combination with the stock balls from your existing clutch kit to ensure your drivetrain can manage the massive torque of a high-performance build. If you are building a monster engine, this kit provides the extra clamping force needed to keep that power on the ground. It is sold as a kit.
