About This Product
The Fast Eddy pinion gear nut socket is designed to install and remove the left-hand threaded pinion gear nut on 1954-1992 Harley-Davidson Big Twin engines. It fits OEM nut references 24023-54 and 24022-90. The socket uses a 1/2" drive and is finished in Cerakote for corrosion resistance. Note: the pinion gear nut has a left-hand thread — turn clockwise to remove. For positive locking during installation or removal, use in conjunction with the 998371 Fast Eddy pinion gear locking tool. The 998378 Fast Eddy puller tool is available separately for pulling the pinion gear.
