About This Product
For Ironhead Sportster owners, the rear motor mount is a known weak point, but this Pingel heavy-duty version solves that issue. Cast from high-strength aluminum with an uncoated finish, this mount is significantly reinforced at all critical stress points. Unlike the stock mount, this one is gusseted on the top for superior rigidity. It is designed to slip over the studs and starter shafts, which is a massive help during assembly, though you will need to remove the motor studs or split the cases for the initial installation. Made in the USA, it fits 1970 to 1981 XL Sportsters and acts as a rugged replacement for the original OEM 16203-67 mount, ensuring your drivetrain stays properly aligned.
