Designed for riders pushing their engines to the limit, Jims Hydrosolid tappets bridge the gap between street comfort and track performance. These lifters act as standard hydraulic units until they reach 5,500 RPM, at which point they transition to solid operation. This adds significant useable horsepower at high revs while maintaining a quiet valvetrain at lower speeds. This version is tailored for RS, Sportster, and Tube frame models. Sold individually, these tappets include an anti-pump device to prevent valve float. Because of their unique design, they require the use of adjustable pushrods to ensure the valvetrain is perfectly timed and clear of interference during high-lift cam operation.
