These Jims solid tappet assemblies are designed for Big Twin riders who demand the ultimate in valvetrain strength and precision. Made in the USA from aircraft-grade steel, these tappets are heat-treated and ground to incredibly tight tolerances of less than .0002 inches. The Big Axle feature includes reinforced, extra-thick rollers that won't distort when paired with aggressive high-lift performance cams. These assemblies are a great fit for FX, FXR, Softail, and Touring models where a solid lifter conversion or replacement is desired. By providing a rigid mechanical connection, they ensure consistent valve timing and durability under high-load conditions. Sold individually for custom engine configurations.
