About This Product
Jims oil pump snap ring installer is for outer snap rings on Big Twin oil pump shafts. The kit includes a ring expander and a pusher sleeve. Oil the expander so the ring slides onto the shaft without over-stretching or deforming it. A distorted snap ring will not seat correctly and can cause oil pump failure. Use this instead of screwdrivers or picks. It belongs in any toolbox that sees regular engine work.
