About This Product
The Mikuni HSR48 Smoothbore Carburetor is a dedicated racing component designed for high-performance and large-displacement Harley-Davidson engines. Featuring a massive 48mm venturi, this carburetor provides the significant airflow required for motors producing over 120 horsepower. It is intended for custom installations rather than as a direct stock replacement. The HSR48 includes a rubber adapter flange for mounting to S&S Super G manifolds. For extreme builds, Mikuni recommends an electric fuel pump; when used in this configuration, the installation of needle valve ZPN 720449 is required. This carburetor is compatible with 1990-2017 style throttle cables, offering precise throttle response for serious power gains.
