This keeps the rotation smooth and the clutch engagement consistent. In a Harley-Davidson primary the clutch basket bearing takes serious rotational stress. Modified engines and belt drive conversions increase that load. This bearing replaces worn units in aftermarket baskets. It handles the heavy loads of high-torque V-twin applications.
