The tool incorporates a one-inch long reduced diameter pilot that inserts into the unfinished guide bore, ensuring the reamer remains perfectly aligned with the valve guide centerline during the sizing process. Ground to a tolerance of +/- .0002", it provides the accuracy required for professional Harley-Davidson cylinder head maintenance. Note that these reamers are not suitable for sizing C630 Nickel Aluminum Bronze guides.
