ThunderMax replace the factory ECM rather than piggy-backing on it, which is the key difference between this and most plug-in tuners. The AutoTune system runs Bosch wide-band oxygen sensors and continuously corrects fuelling and ignition for temperature, altitude, and any changes you make to intake or exhaust — no dyno session needed to dial it in.

Fits virtually every EFI Harley from 2002 onwards, including current Milwaukee-Eight Touring and Softail models. Supplied as a complete plug-in module, no wire-splicing. Sensible step if you've stage-kitted a bike and don't want to keep paying for re-tunes.
