This oil separator seal ring is a specialized component found inside the cam cover of vintage Flatheads. It fits 1937 to 1973 45" Sidevalve models and is a direct replacement for OEM 25281-37. Produced by Samwel, this ring is part of the system that separates oil from the air before it exits the crankcase breather. A worn or damaged seal ring can lead to excessive oil loss through the breather tube, making a mess of your bike and the road. Replacing this ring during a cam cover service is a smart move to keep your engine running clean.
