About This Product
Samwel spring for the oil separator seal ring. It fits 1937 to 1973 45-inch Sidevalve models, 1937 to 1948 74-inch and 80-inch Big Twin Sidevalves, and 1952 to 1956 KH models. It replaces OEM 25287-37. This spring pushes the seal ring against the breather passage. If it is sagged or rusty the ring will not seal and oil will blow through. Fit a new one whenever the cam cover is apart.
