About This Product
Samwel lock tab for the transmission sprocket nut. It replaces OEM 35616-26 and 2278-26. It fits 1929 to 1973 45-inch Flathead models. Bend this tab up against the nut after torquing to stop it from backing off in service. A loose sprocket nut will wreck the mainshaft and case. Do not reuse an old tab. Check the nut torque after the first ride.
