Samwel steering damper for Springer forks. Chrome lever version for 1941 to 1952 45" WL and G Flathead models with Springer forks and early OEM-style handlebars. Replaces OEM 46701-40 and 2776-40N. It damps front-end oscillation and keeps the steering steady. The chrome suits civilian restorations. Install it like the factory unit and adjust the drag to taste.
