JIMS oil pump snap ring installer slides the outer retaining ring onto the oil pump drive shaft on 1936 to 1999 Big Twin models, excluding Twin Cam engines. It stops you from over-stretching the ring or scratching the shaft. A stretched ring or scored shaft can let the pump loosen off. Use this when you are rebuilding the bottom end or oiling system on a classic Harley.
