About This Product
Designed for mid-to-high RPM power, the S&S Easy Start 585 gear drive camshaft kit fits 2007 to 2017 Softail, 2006 to 2017 Dyna, and 2007 to 2016 Touring models. This .585" lift cam is a bolt-in for 88 to 106-inch engines with 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 compression, pulling hard from 3500 to 6000 RPM. On larger 106 to 124-inch engines, the power band shifts to 2500 to 5500 RPM. The integrated Easy Start compression release makes starting simple and saves wear on your starter motor. This kit is sold as a set and includes inner and outer drive gears, installation hardware, bearings, and a gasket. These cams are not compatible with kickstart models and require an idle speed of 1000-1100 RPM for quietest operation.
