106-5442 Easy Start gear drive 551 camshaft kit (IOG)

This S&S 551 Easy Start gear drive kit is the ultimate torque setup for stock 96-inch Touring bikes, providing its strongest pull from idle up to 4000 RPM. Designed for 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding the 2006 Dyna, this complete kit includes inner and outer drive gears, bearings, and gaskets. The Easy Start mechanism makes firing up your Big Twin effortless by momentarily lifting the exhaust valve to bleed off cranking pressure, meaning you won't need a heavy-duty starter or oversized battery. These cams are not recommended for engines with 10:1 or higher compression. Because these are for early Twin Cams, you will likely need high-lift valve springs and some clearancing during installation.
