About This Product
This S&S valve spring kit is a high-performance upgrade for the legendary Knucklehead engine. Designed to fit 1936 to 1947 Knuckleheads, as well as S&S KN-series engines, this kit supports valve lifts up to .480 inches. The kit is sold as a set and includes everything needed for a professional installation: steel top collars, lower collars, high-tension valve springs, and valve keys. These components are engineered to work with stock Knucklehead tins and S&S valve spring covers. Whether you are restoring an original 74-inch motor or building a high-performance S&S Knuckle, these springs provide the reliable tension and durability required for vintage overhead valve operation. Note that some OEM valve guides may require shortening for proper clearance.
