This throttle return spring is a vital component for the safe operation of S&S Super E and Super G carburetors. It provides the necessary tension to ensure the throttle butterfly returns to the closed position immediately when the grip is released. Over time, heat and vibration can cause springs to fatigue or lose tension, making replacement a key part of routine carburetor maintenance. S&S Cycle manufactures these springs to strict tolerances to prevent binding and ensure a consistent feel at the handlebar. These springs are sold in packs of 5.
