This 2-inch wide exhaust insulating wrap from Thermo-Tec provides a carbon fiber aesthetic while improving the thermal efficiency of your motorcycle's exhaust system. By keeping exhaust gases hot, it maintains high velocity for better engine scavenging and increased horsepower. The wrap is 1/16 inch (1.6mm) thick and is sold as a 50ft roll, approximately 15.25 meters. It is asbestos-free and helps protect the rider from exhaust burns. The material will naturally discolor with heat exposure. For typical Harley-Davidson exhaust diameters, roughly 38 to 44 inches of wrap is needed per 30cm of pipe. Secure the ends with universal metal tie-wraps.
