Provided in a 50-foot roll, this 1.5mm thick insulation is built to take the heat, withstanding up to 1200°F continuously. It works by keeping exhaust gases hot, which prevents them from losing velocity and ensures your engine’s scavenging effect remains at its peak. It is a functional upgrade that also protects against burns and masks blueing on the headers. This universal wrap, OEM 597523, will see some colour shift after installation due to heat exposure. Be sure to secure the ends with metal tie-wraps, which are sold separately.
