About This Product
This platinum-colored exhaust insulating wrap from Thermo-Tec is 1 inch wide and 1/16 inch (1.6mm) thick. It is designed to improve horsepower by optimizing the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, keeping gases hot to maintain velocity and scavenging effects. Additionally, it provides a protective barrier against heat for the rider. This asbestos-free material is sold as a 50ft roll, approximately 15.25 meters. While the platinum finish offers a distinct look, the material will naturally discolor under heat. Ends should be secured with universal metal tie-wraps for a permanent installation on Harley-Davidson exhaust headers.
