About This Product
The JIMS alternator rotor puller is a precision workshop tool engineered to remove 38-amp and 45-amp alternator rotors from the sprocket shaft using a smooth threaded pull action. Particularly valuable on 45-amp charging systems where the rotor's strong magnetic hold makes conventional removal difficult, this tool eliminates the risk of shaft or bearing damage caused by improvised methods. Suitable for 1995–2006 FLT Touring and 2001–2006 Softail models. Compatible with OEM rotor part numbers 29981-95 and 29999-97A/B, as well as similar rotor designs. An essential addition to any serious Harley workshop.
