About This Product
Loctite 542 is a brown hydraulic and pneumatic sealer provided in a 10cc bottle. This medium-strength fluid is specifically formulated for sealing and securing fine-threaded fittings used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to M18. It prevents leaks caused by vibration and provides a 15Nm locking strength on M10 fasteners. Rated for temperatures up to 150°C, it ensures that brake lines, oil fittings, and air suspension components on a Harley-Davidson remain sealed and secure. Disassembly can be achieved with localized heat of 250°C and standard hand tools, making it a vital service item for fluid systems.
