About This Product
Loctite 542 is a brown hydraulic and pneumatic sealer in a 10cc bottle. It is medium-strength and made for fine-threaded fittings in hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to M18. It stops leaks from vibration and gives a 15Nm locking strength on M10 fasteners. It holds to 150 degrees Celsius. If you need to pull the fitting later, apply localized heat to 250 degrees Celsius and use standard hand tools. Use it on brake lines, oil fittings and air suspension components.
