It uses a woven silica base with a flexible aluminized finish to block up to 90% of radiant heat, handling temperatures up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. The self-adhesive composite backing ensures a strong bond to plastic, metal, or painted surfaces. It is highly flexible, making it easy to wrap around hoses and wiring or to line the inside of a fairing.
