This valve seal installation capsule from Kibblewhite Precision Machining (KPMI) is a specialized tool designed to protect delicate valve seals during the assembly process. Also known as a valve seal installation protector, this green-coded tool is sized for 5/16 inch (7.94mm) valve stems. It slides over the stem to prevent the valve guide seal from being damaged by the sharp edges of the keeper grooves. Using these capsules ensures a clean installation and prevents premature oil leaks in Harley-Davidson engine builds. Sold as a pair.
