About This Product
This JIMS 6-speed 'Big Bearing' trapdoor is the ultimate upgrade for high-horsepower Twin Cam engines. Finished in black, it is designed to fit stock 6-speed Cruise Drive transmissions on 2007 to 2017 Softail and Touring models, as well as 2006 to 2017 Dynas. It serves as a heavy-duty replacement for OEM 35260-06. Precision machined from 6061 aluminum, it holds transmission shafts to a .0005 inch centerline for perfect alignment. The kit includes wider, heavy-duty bearings secured with beveled retaining rings to eliminate end play, along with two solid shifter fork shafts to replace the weaker hollow OEM units. This trapdoor provides the structural integrity needed to prevent case flex and gear failure in performance applications.
