About This Product
This JIMS billet transmission trapdoor for 1987 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin models is machined from 7075-T651 aluminium without bearings (fitted separately), making it five times stronger than the OEM casting. Bearing bores are held perpendicular to the mounting flange within 0.0002 inches and the design supports engines of 100 horsepower and above. Compatible with early 1980 to 1986 style transmission end covers, though the physical shape differs. Replaces OEM references 35074-87, 35250-90D, and 35260-90C.
