About This Product

JIMS Blue-coded pinion gear. It is the average size in the JIMS range. It fits 1954 to early 1977 Big Twin models including Shovelhead and Panhead motors and replaces OEM 24010-54. The gear is machined from top-tier American aerospace tool steel. The colour-coded system lets you set lash between the pinion and cam gears. A tight fit whines. A loose fit clicks. Dial in the tolerances and you get a quiet valve train.

Manufacturer part number: 24010-BLU.
