About This Product
Andrews five-speed gear and shaft kit. This is the complete set for a full transmission rebuild on 1981–1984 Big Twin models with rear chain drive. You get all five main and counter gears plus the mainshaft and countershaft. The ratios are stock. Andrews machines these from nickel alloy steel, then heat-treats and shot-peens them. Lead-in ramps are cut in where they belong. That improves shift quality and saves the drive dogs and slots from hammering themselves to bits. Sold as a set.
