When you're building a high-performance Shovelhead, the stock cases are often the weak link. These S&S Superstock crankcases are cast from 356-T6 aluminum and are significantly stronger than the original factory units. This set is designed for 1970 to 1984 Shovelheads with a 3-5/8 inch big bore. They come ready for the engine builder, with Timken main bearing races, cam needle bearings, and the pinion shaft race already installed and line-honed. The kit includes cylinder studs, nickel-plated case bolts, and all necessary fittings. It is a massive labor saver that replaces OEM 26190-73 and provides a much more reliable foundation for racing or heavy-duty street use, sold as a set.
