320-0397 00-06 Softail 4" stroke flywheel assembly

If you are rebuilding a 2000 to 2006 Softail with an 88-inch engine, this S&S flywheel assembly offers a robust alternative to the factory crank. It maintains the stock 4-inch stroke and comes balanced to 1230 grams total piston weight. Note that the S&S connecting rods do not have tapered wristpin ends, so they require compatible pistons and are not intended for use with stock H-D pistons. These flywheels are set up for Timken-style sprocket shaft bearings, fitting early Twin Cam Softail cases perfectly. While they can be used with the 2003-up style sprocket shaft roller bearing, OEM 24004-03B, S&S recommends the stronger Timken setup for performance applications.
