About This Product
S&S drive and idler gear shim. It is .062-inch thick. It is for S&S circuit breaker setups on 1936 to 1969 Big Twin models. It sets the end-play and gear tolerance in the timing assembly. A few thousandths of an inch matter here. Use it during a timing chest refresh or engine build to align the drive and idler gears correctly. That stops premature wear in the gear case.
