About This Product
The S&S HPT496C is a serious bolt-in camshaft designed to wake up your Milwaukee-Eight engine. This chain-drive cam is engineered for massive horsepower and torque gains, with S&S dyno testing showing over 120 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque on a Low Rider ST equipped with a high-flow intake and exhaust. It’s compatible with stock components, though you really need a free-breathing air filter and performance mufflers to see these kinds of numbers. This cam fits 2018 to 2026 Softails and 2017 to 2026 Touring and Trike models, excluding those with Variable Valve Timing. When doing the swap, we highly recommend installing a set of S&S Precision tappets (part number 583903) to ensure everything stays quiet and reliable.
