About This Product
This JIMS tool is a dual-purpose solution for cylinder head work. It is primarily used to remove 5/16 inch shoulderless valve guides, but it also serves as the essential driver handle for several other JIMS installer tools, including the 978228 and 978230. It fits 1936 to 2004 Big Twin models. Having a dedicated handle ensures you have the proper grip and striking surface to drive guides in or out without marring the head or the guide itself. It is a foundational tool for vintage and Evolution-era head service in any professional workshop.
