About This Product
The Spyke single fire coil is a high-performance 12V, 3 Ohm unit designed to deliver a massive 45,000-volt output. It features extremely fast rise and fall times, allowing it to fire even at very low voltages for easier starting. This coil is designed for single fire applications, where each spark plug fires independently on the compression stroke, which can reduce vibration and improve power in high-RPM or hot-cam engines compared to dual fire systems. It fits 1965 to 1999 Big Twin and 1965 to 2003 Sportster models equipped with custom single fire electronic ignitions. It is compact enough to mount under stock covers. For the best results and to prevent premature failure, we recommend pairing this with a Spyke ignition module. This coil is sold individually.
