About This Product
MCS pinion shaft for the bottom end. Fits 1977 to early 1981 XL Sportster models. Replaces OEM 24008-75 and 24005-75. Check your old shaft for scoring or worn oiling holes. This is a critical fit for timing gear alignment and crankcase oiling. Do not fit a worn pinion shaft. Measure the gear lash and check the keyway for burrs before you slide it into the flywheel.
