About This Product
MCS pinion shaft for 1973-E1981 Big Twin. This shaft drives the transmission from the crankshaft. It is hardened steel with precision-ground bearing surfaces and gear teeth. Heat-treated. Drilled for oil passage. Sold as a new unit. You must match it to the correct gears and bearings to set the mesh pattern properly. Transmission assembly experience is required. Do not attempt this rebuild without it.
