About This Product
MCS 17-tooth clutch gear. Fourth gear on the transmission mainshaft. Fits 1956 to 1966 KH, XL Sportster, XLH and XLCH, plus 1967 to 1969 XLCH models with engine numbers 56KH-1465 and up. Replaces OEM 37449-56. This gear takes the drive from the clutch hub and sends it back through the box. Check the dogs and the bore for wear before fitting. If the teeth are hooked or the faces are battered, the new gear will not shift cleanly.
