About This Product
MCS starter gear lever pivot shaft. It fits 1986 to 1990 Softail models. It replaces OEM 31473-86. The old shaft wears and scores over time. That causes inconsistent engagement or binding in the lever. Fit this new shaft to restore proper alignment of the starter gear. Check the old one for scoring before you button the primary back up.
