When you're dialling in a motor, getting the cam end-play exactly right is critical for a quiet and reliable top end. This .015" camshaft shim from MCS is designed specifically for that purpose. It fits 1954 to 1985 XL Sportster models as well as 1937 to 1973 45" 750cc Flatheads. Using the correct thrust washer ensures your camshaft stays properly aligned within the gear case, preventing unnecessary wear on the lobes and bushings. This part is a direct replacement for OEM 515756 and is an essential item to have on the bench during any vintage Sportster or Flathead engine rebuild.
